Abstract

The Margaret Moser collection spans 1974-2014 and documents the role and influence she had in the Austin and the broader Texas music scenes. It is organized into seven series: 1) photographs, 2) correspondence, 3) writings, 4) printed material, 5) publications, 6) event posters, and 7) cassette tapes.

Abstract Archival material pertaining to the life and career of writier and rock historian, Ed Ward (1948-2021). Spanning the years 1962-2019, materials in this collection include interview transcrpts with rock and blues musicians, research notes, articles, columns and reviews written by Ward and edited manuscripts of Rock of Ages: The Rolling Stone History of Rock and Roll co-written by Ed Ward, Geoffrey Stokes and Ken Tucker, 1987 as well as research for Ward's History of Rock and Roll Vol. 1 and 2...
